  Scarce, rare or just call it hard to come by they just aren't out there in this condition. The nearly full page lithograph is quite striking and is very collectible of a torture of four Texas heroes by Indian braves over a roaring fire. Come on how could a cover get any more ghastly written by Sam S Hall the cover shows a band of Indian braves sending the last captive down the river after burning the others slowly over a pit.  This particular issue is rarely seen and almost never up for sale .  This book is in good condition with some foxing on page edges. Spine is taped but the paper quality is very good. This issue is a large format 12.5 inches by 8.25 inches.  32 pages in the large printing of a J. E. Badger Jr story.(See Scan for compete details)
