   This issue is in very good condition, very scarce and is part of a 10 issue collection that we located and will be listing. Collection published in a french edition.

  La Terreur des Indiens "Land of the Indians" For lovers of all "boy adventures". This is a fabulous copy of the Famous Adventures of Texas Jack, printed between 16th February 1909 - 21st March 1911 by La Nouvelle Populaire 76 rue de Rennes, PARIS. This book features stories based around the popular character, Texas Jack. This book has colored cover with vivid colors, depicting the various adventures of Texas Jack. Considering its age this book is not in too bad condition, the front and back covers show obvious signs of wear and tear through use over the passage of time . The pages are printed in French, still readable but have yellowed and have some foxing.  Please look at the video carefully as it is the best description. The plates would look fabulous framed - Measures 9" length x 6.1/4" width John Baker Omohundro (July 26, 1846 – June 28, 1880), also known as "Texas Jack," was a frontier scout , actor, and cowboy. He was born at Pleasure Hill, near Palmyra, Virginia , to John B. and Catherine Omohundro. 

 Confederate States of America, 1861-1865     Most Texans were opposed to any interference from Northern politicians seeking to abolish the institution of slavery. When Abraham Lincoln was elected to the presidency in 1860, Texas joined with other slaveholding states in seceding from the Union and forming the Confederate States of America. Over 70,000 Texans served in the Confederate army. They fought in every theater and almost every battle of the war. Though Robert E. Lee surrendered in Virginia to Union forces in April, 1865, the Confederacy in the West, including Texas, did not surrender until June 2, 1865. On June 19 (Juneteenth), Federal forces arrived in Galveston to occupy Texas, enforce United States law, and begin the process of readmitting Texas into the Union.

The Flag  The Confederate States of America had three flag designs during its existence. The first flag representing the government of the Confederate States of America , commonly referred to as the "Stars and Bars," was adopted on March 4, 1861. Patterned after the U.S. Stars and Stripes, it features two large red horizontal stripes above and below a large white stripe, and a blue canton in the upper left bearing a circular pattern of white stars equal in number to the number of states that had seceded from the Union. For many it represents a history of enslavement and repression while to others it is a symbol of patriotic heritage.

  Scarce, rare or just call it hard to come by they just aren't out there in this very good condition.  This particular issue is rarely seen and almost never up for sale .  This book is in very good condition with little wear other then slight reading. A dealer stamp is on inside page. Paper quality is very good and complete. 

  This book is one of a large collection we are placing on our Ebay store of rarely available items and books.  The book is one of the many rarely seen items that we will be offering over the next few months from a collectors estate sale. Once these are gone how long before you will see them come up again. Once a collector buys them they go right back into a vault somewhere.
