   This volume contains the first 26 issues of Street and Smith's Literary Album. There are 23 pages missing in the 414 page volume including the front covers for #4, #11 and #17. the pages are 41, 42, 49, 50,119, 120, 121, 122, 139, 140, 151, 152, 160, 161, 255, 256, 257, 258, 263, 264, 278, 279. The story papers have marks, tears, wear to edges, surfaces, some missinbg pages listed  and small missing pieces as always seen with issues using this paper and from the mid 1800s. It has been darkened with age.

The book is one of the many rarely seen items that we will be offering over the next few months from a collectors estate sale. Once these are gone how long before you will see them come up again. Once a collector buys them they go right back into a vault somewhere.
